Yucheng Lian
Yucheng Lian (b. 2003) is a Chinese visual artist and filmmaker, soon to commence his studies in a Master of Fine Arts in Film Production at the University of Southern California. He is currently completing his B.S. in Communication Arts at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, complemented by certificates in Digital Film Production and Art Studio - Photography. His artistic style, inspired by luminaries such as Rinko Kawauchi and Apichatpong Weerasethakul, focuses on capturing the delicate and prolonged dynamics of human relationships. His photography was notably included in the "Untitled" exhibition in 2023, and his short film has been selected for the Wisconsin Film Festival in 2024.
